Facts about lynx for kids

Lynx are large cats. They have strong paws, a tail, and straight ears with pointed black tassels. Most bobcats are well adapted to the cold winter. They have thick, warm fur and paws that resemble built-in snowshoes. Bobcats prefer solitude and are very attached to the area in which they live. Like all wild cats, they hunt at night and sleep during the day. They also make their beds in caves, rock crevices, and bushes. Lynx are carnivorous and eat only meat. They jump on their prey and kill it.
