Moles are small mammals that are found all over the world. They live in meadows, cities, gardens, pastures, sand dunes, mixed forests, or any area where there is soil in which they can dig tunnels. Moles use tunnels to get around and also as dormitories, kitchens, and bedrooms. They feed mostly on earthworms, keeping them alive and still by biting their heads off and then storing them in their kitchen.

They are often thought of as garden pests, but that’s not entirely true. Sure, moles spoil a beautiful lawn, but they also save the garden from underground pests by eating them. Did you know that moles aren’t actually blind?
